Chiesa, Juventus Signaling His Departure as He Seeks More Playing Time

Juventus have confirmed that the club's Italian forward Andrea Chiesa has signed for Serie A rivals Napoli.

The 24-year-old forward is expected to make the move on a season-long loan deal with the option of a permanent transfer at the end of the campaign.

Chiesa has been in impressive form for Juve this season and has scored five goals in just eight league appearances.

He was also part of Italy's squad for the recent Euro 2021 tournament and played in all three group stage matches.

However, it seems that he has not been given enough playing time by Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri, who has preferred to play other players such as Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala.

As a result, Chiesa has decided to seek more regular game-time elsewhere and has agreed terms with Napoli.
